6 GREAT MOCKTAILS IN ABU DHABI 2023
NIRI
MAMSHA AL SAADIYAT
KODOMO
Day or night, whether it's sea views or people watching, Niri is always the place to be. And whilst the drinks menu has all the usual suspects, we were happy to note that they've not messed around with their mocktail menu: it's on point and we're here for it.
Our favourite mock tipple is the kodomo: with mixed berries, a touch of lime and apple and topped up with soda, this is one drink you could order many times. It's excessively Instagrammable and gives affordable luxury vibes.

LPM
THE GALLERIA AT AL MARYAH
THE LIMONADE NOIR
This is a sophisticated mocktail, but so drinkable. The activated charcoal adds a little bit of je ne sais quoi to the look of it, and the flavours of lemon, honey and verjuice make this a most refreshing drink. It's not overly sweet and the fizz of the lemonade makes it a great summer cooler.
LPM is open 12PM - 12AM daily

TVM
THE GALLERIA
FARASHA
TVM had to make this list, because it only does mocktails - yes, an entire bar serving up incredibly gorgeous concoctions, without alcohol!
The name of this mocktail is farasha and don't you think it suits it perfectly?! It reminds us of a butterfly and we loved that it tasted equally as whimsical.
With light notes of pineapple, butterfly pea tea which is what gives it its purple hue, coconut water, a touch of lemon and tonic for a spritzy flair, this mocktail is one that will lift your day. Fly, pretty!

ZUMA

HENTO PASSION VIBE
We have to give a serious salute to Zuma for the fact that it has an entire menu dedicated to mocktails, But even more than that, it's not just a nod in the right direction: much thought, care and attention is put into making every drink one to remember.
The sizeable ice-ball dominates this extremely drinkable mocktail. It's an order-again kind of drink, a drink that complements the menu with every sip. It's not too sweet but the nashi and passionfruit give it enough, not so sour from the yuzu that you wish you hadn't, but with layers of taste that make you want to explore it further. With a slight suggestion of almond at the end, the the ice to keep it cool on every level, we highly recommend this drink.
PAVO
AL QANA
PINK BLOSSOMS
Pavo is a newly opened restaurant beside the marina in Al Qana and it's already bringing the noise with both food and coffee. The mocktail menu is good, especially if you like a mojito, but we felt this pink blossoms was worth a shout. With elderflower, a slew of mixed berries with a load of ice, this was a refreshing drink, without being too sweet. At AED45, it's at the higher end of the mocktail price spectrum but it was well-made and the flavour profile worked well.

STRATOS
LE ROYAL MERIDIEN
TAMARIND ICED TEA
This is a Ramadan only concoction - but it's so good, we think they should offer it all year round!
With the best-friend flavours of tamarindi, Early Grey tea, lemon juice & blackberry, this is a gorgeous drink. It's on the sweet side and is the perfect refreshing, fruity cocktail to drink in the views.
There are others on the menu too, if you like a slightly more sour tipple. The Arabian Moon's mixture of Vimto, celery, green apple and soda is a fresh drop!
